Hi Holly,

The best approach is probably to list the host as the author in your Works Cited entry, and thus use their name in the in-text citations, but clarify who exactly is speaking when you introduce a quotation:

James Smith states that “…” (Jones 13:14).

There is a host that asks his two guests questions on a topic and the two quests have a debate about the topic. I am using a quote that one of the guests said. Do I need to include both guests names in the works cited or just the host name.

Hi Leo,

It’s not mandatory to include a time stamp. It’s a good idea to do so if there’s an obvious point in the podcast where the piece of information you’re citing comes up, so that the reader can easily find what you’re referring to. But if not, feel free to just omit the time stamp from your citation.
